toothache

Nope, it's not the one that I have to get all the work done on on January 18th. That's on the left side. This is on the right side. No doubt this is on the bottom too, I can't actually tell because the pain is so bad it hurts on the entire side. I have been having pain there for a little over a week. I even called the dentist last Monday to make sure the tooth that needed work was on the left. Yep, sure is. Then why the heck does it hurt so much on the right?? I am not happy. I woke up this morning with the right side of my face hurting to the touch even. I am wondering now if I should take off Monday and go to the dentist, or try and wait until break. I don't want to go at all, of course, so I am leaning toward break. However, I don't want to get into a situation where I have to miss during exams if it gets worse. I don't want to miss another day because of teeth period, since I have to leave early on the 8th to take Whitney to get her cap started and I am off on the 18 to get my cap started. Waa. My teeth haven't given me any trouble for a long, long time and now they are starting to go crazy.
In other news, the snow has now changed to rain. Now I want to go to Kohl's. I am going to refrain though because I don't feel like putting make up on and that is a good enough excuse for me not to go and spend more money.
Guess I'll head back to the basement to the laundry and feel sorry for myself again.

Ripped off

I am really upset today. I got a letter in the mail yesterday from one of my credit card companies saying they upped my credit limit. I decided to check it out online today and was horrified to see that someone ( not me ) has been charging things online on this particular card everyday ( sometimes more than once a day ) since November 28th. I am dumbfounded. This card has been literally locked up where NO ONE could have gotten it for a year. I have a whole stack of them that I locked away from myself. Luckily the charges are only around $400 at this point. I called today and they put a freeze on the account, but I am supposed to call a bank tomorrow about all the fraudulent charges. I sure hope someone hasn't gotten ahold of my social security number. Stupid, mean, dishonest people. I can't wait until I talk to someone tomorrow and they tell me where the purchases the person made are going. I mean, they have to have a shipping address right? They sure aren't coming here. I am not a happy camper.
On a lighter note, Ricky asked Whitney to marry him on Friday. They are funny. He has her ring in layaway, but wanted a ring to propose to her, so he got her a ring to do that with. It is 18kt. gold over silver and it has a red heart on it. She loves it and thinks it's the prettiest thing she ever saw. It is, of course, too big for her finger and she has it on a chain around her neck. It is actually pretty. She has been showing it to everyone. She is at "Woodstock's" house right now. I'm sure she has shown it to her parents and they probably think I am an awful parent for not sheltering her from all the big bad guys and babying her, but I say she is having the time of her life. And anyway, who am I to tell her that she can't have relationships and feelings like the rest of the world? I can't do that because she does have feelings and she is taken care of. She is actually having a pretty "normal" life and that's what I've always wished for for her. So there. Anyway, I told Ricky that he should just let that be her engagement ring and save his money because she loves it and is telling everyone that it's her engagement ring anyway. We'll see if he takes my advice. Life sure is sweet when people aren't stealing your money. I know it will be ok, at least it's $400 and not $4,000 and Brandon isn't having problems right now and is being a completely awesome person which I am forever grateful every day for. So this is just a small bump in the road compared to other things in life. Everyone is healthy including my 17 year old dog! I actually have alot to be grateful for!
Guess that's is, back to the grind tomorrow!

Visit from Dylan

Dylan has been here this weekend, which has been great. When he got here, he saw Pierre in his red sweater and asked us why we dressed Pierre up. Cracked me up. He is reading words and spelling some too. It sure is good to see him. He will be back up at Christmas which won't be long. Better finish buying his presents.
I bought Whitney new pants this weekend to fit her expanding butt. I passed by all the sweaters and it sure was hard. I told myself I will go back after Christmas and catch all the after Christmas sales. She went to Ricky's yesterday and they went to the Christmas parade in Lebanon. Looked like fun, they had horse drawn carriages. I went to the grocery and did laundry. Other than that, not much else going on. I am watching TV Land today, they are showing a 24 hour marathon of Christmas episodes. Brady Bunch is on now. I am taping a Hallmark movie tonight with Sissy Spacek, it looks good.
Maybe some snow this week? I don't think I'm ready for it yet. Not unless we get a snow day or course! Probably not though, so I'm sure I'm not ready.

Congratulations Rick and Diane, I guess you are Mr. and Mrs. now. I am happy for you both, Rick, you are a super nice guy who is great to Diane and treats her wonderfully. Big fun day, but my belly hurts

So today we had fun shopping in the crazy crowds. I wouldn't miss it for anything. Obviously, since my belly hurt the entire time and I visited every bathroom in every store we went in. I called the doctor when I got home. They gave me an appt. for Friday, hmmm?? She did say I could call in Monday and see if they had anything, you know how they leave blocks open for people to call in that morning? Then the doctor called me and told me to take 2 Immodium four times a day and not to eat any meat, fat, grease, or dairy. Excuuuse me?? I'm thinking that doesn't leave me much to eat. Soup, eggs maybe, or are they considered dairy? Peanut butter? All's I know is if this keeps up for very long I will not fit into any of my new clothes that I bought today because they will be too big. Normally I would think that was a good thing, but I tried them all on and I love them all. Of course, I'm thinking I could lose 10 pounds and they would still fit ok. I will take his advice though becuase after I ate at Bob Evans today which consisted of , meat, grease, fat and dairy my stomach hurt worse than ever and still does. I am going to have some vegetable soup and cornbread for dinner. At least it's homemade, although it does have meat in it. I will try not to eat to much of that. Ok, I feel like I am whining so I will go, thanks to everyone for going out in the wee hours and having fun with me today!!

weekends too short

I know that this is only a two day work week and I can't wait. Ever since Saturday morning I have had diarreah. I know, nobody wants to hear about it, but that is how my weekend has been. Every time I eat. I just took some Immodium, hopefully that will put an end to it, it is really annoying. I managed to make it through the bowling alley today without an incident, I just made sure no food passed my lips before or during that trip. Hey, this could be a way to lose weight. NOT!! Nothing going on, I need to make out my shopping list for this Friday, I am so excited! I always end up buying lots of things that are not on my list, but I do need to try and get things that are actually on it too. We have to go get our tree next weekend too. Gosh, it will all be here and be over before I know it.
