same old stuff

Same stuff different day. Went to Curves this morning, then came home and painted. Much to my delight, I did not fall and bruise myself or get paint in my eye. That made it a good morning.
I got the sink/vanity/dressing area painted today. I ran out of tape and had to stop because I couldn't tape up any more of my trim. I think I am going to stop painting until Monday and take it up again then. Tomorrow I will go garage selling ( Wethersfield has their neighborhood sale, yay) then to Curves, then to Wal Mart. Then home to do not much of nothing until time to grocery shop.
Guess that's it, pretty boring stuff. That's the way I like it!

rough first day off

Ok, so my first day of summer break isn't going so well. I was at Curves before 8:00 this morning. I got weighed and measured for the first time since August. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty and I was right. I am 6 pounds heavier than I was when I joined Curves a year ago and 10 pounds heavier than I was last August. My butt is 4 inches bigger. Everything is bigger, but my butt is what I really remember the measurement of. Looks like I've got some serious work to do.
So I came home from all that excitement and I started painting upstairs. I fell off the stool I was standing on and bruised the top of my left foot . I got paint in my right eye. Good thing my eyes and the paint are both green. I managed to get the bathroom and the hall to the bathroom done. What a pain in the butt. I sure do hope I love this green color cause I don't think I'm ever painting up there again. I swear there just couldn't be any more angles up there! Upstairs of a cape cod house - CRAZY. I am done painting for today. At this rate I should be able to get the whole room finished by the time it's time to go back to school. Daryl's got some more sanding to do up there, maybe he will get it done tonight.
So, that's what's up , now I'm going to go take Pierre outside so I can sweat some more.

shopping with Dil Pickle

So, I had this plan to take Dylan shopping for Nina for mother's day and let him pick out her gift. I told him about the plan on Friday and he said he wanted to get her flowers and cake. Ok. On the way to Wal Mart yesterday to get the gifts, he said he wanted to get her a sword. Ahh, no. I am thinking you have enough of those to share with her. For craps sake, there are at least 4 of them here alone. So we got to Wal Mart and I had to persuade him towards some gifts, or she was going to end up with some really big, really orange jewelry. With my help he ended up with pink roses, a candle, an ankle bracelet, toe ring and a watch. You're welcome Nina.
In other news, that big, huge bobtailed cat that is trying to kill mama cat struck again last night. She was hurt to the point that we weren't sure she would make it through the night. She seems to be much better this morning though. That cat must die. Until he dies, we will keep the girls up. If the freaks next door would get their 10 cats fixed he would not be coming around here at all. We blame them, but he still must die. That is 3 times since Tuesday he has attacked her. He must die. We are thinking about bringing them in the house, but they still have their claws and I would hate for them to tear up my furniture. They are too old to get de clawed now. I also don't want them bothering Pierre in his golden years. The hair would get on my nerves too, but maybe I would lose weight if I had to vacuum everyday? I don't know that they would be satisfied inside either. That cat must die.
Mom and dad, Kathy and Bruce and their boys are all coming over for mother's day today. Gotta get in the shower and clean the bathrooms, the only 2 chores left to do and it's only 9:15, so I am doing good.
Only 10 more school days, I can't wait!!
Better go check on mama again. That cat must die.

diggin in the yard

There is lots of digging going on around here today. Daryl is actually the one who is doing the work, but I do go out and cheer him on occasionaly. Hey, everybody needs a cheerleader, right?
We went and got our weeping cherry tree today, it will be so pretty. He is also planting the tomato and broccoli plants. Lots of new flowers to plant too. His strawberries and blueberries are on a roll though. So are the perinnials. The yard sure is pretty. He is obsessed about planting stuff every year. I sure am lucky. We still have to get our mulch though. I bought my paint today too, so whenever school gets out and I get the opportunity, I will paint! I will probably need to get a summer job to pay for all this stuff.
So, Joey came home from church with Whitney today. I will be taking them to Joey's later. He is so sweet to her. I like Joey. He sure is a big fella though. Not so much fat, just real big, especially next to her. She and I were at Kohls yesterday and she informed me that they will be having a prom at PSU. Nice. So anyway, we went and looked at dresses. We found a real cute one. I will make sure there are pictures taken.
Guess I better go fold some clothes and get ready for school tomorrow, it's almost over!
