Mean cat from you know where is gone

Ok, so when we took Mama to the vet last night ( more on this in a few), she gave us a trap to trap mean cat in. Daryl baited it up when we got home and he was in it in a matter of minutes. You won't believe this, but after all the grief, and $ spent, we felt sorry for the stupid thing. He looked pitiful sitting there in that cage. It's not his fault no one ever took care of him. I still hate him pretty much though. Anyway, there is this guy that comes into Daryl's shop for hoses and he lives out there in West Chester on a lot of land and told Daryl he could drop him off out there. So that's what he did this morning, now whether he stays or not, I don't know. I hope we didn't make a mistake not taking him to the pound. There's are no other cats around this guys property, so hopefully he won't have anyone to torment. The vet said he could have been trying to mate with Mama. Excuse me stupid head, she is fixed. Vet said it doesn't matter with male cats, they don't know they're fixed nor do they care.
So now about Mama. She has a torn third eyelid, a blood clot and lacerations on her eye. She gave her anti inflammatory to take by mouth, pain medicine eye drops and antibiotic eye creme. She will see her in a week and hopefull she will be ok and not have to have her eye removed. The pain medicine eye drops make her foam at the mouth, I mean real, real, bad, like for 10 minutes. It is wicked. Good thing the vet told us this would happen or we would have thought she was dying. She is such a good girl though, she just lets us put all this stuff in her eye and mouth and doesn't make a peep. Speaking of which, it is time for the wicked scary drops, I have to go up and put those in, yikes. Then I will run to the basement again.

Poor Mama

Poor Mama, that stupid, dumb a$$, mean, bully of a bobtail cat has hurt her again. This time he has really messed up her left eye. You can't see it in this picture because this was taken before the inident. I came home the other day to see him fighting Mama and even Baby this time too. They both ran away and while Baby came home within a couple of hours, Mama didn't come home until about 9:30 that night. Daryl was really upset. Anyway, we could see that her eye was hurt, but didn't realize how bad it was until last night, she has been hiding. I am definitely going to take her to the vet today. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, but her third eyelid is exposed ( I just found out yeasterday that cats have a third eyelid). That is usually only exposed if there has been trauma. We're not sure she can see out of it anymore either. I am about to give Daryl my permission to kill that cat. Actually, the guy across the street shot him ( we heard this from the cop next door, he has been hurting that guys cats too) and thought he killed him, but he didn't. He is surely using all of his 9 lives. Daryl and I have decided to fix the breezeway where the cats can be in it , but not get out and no one can get in and hurt them. We are even going to plant some grass in the back of it for them. That way they cam have the upstairs over the garage and that. We can't keep having them hurt. More $$$$, can't wait to see how much this vet bill is either. Oh well, it's always something.
In other news, took Whitney to the doctor yesterday ( I almost put vet). Before she can start her pills she has to take some mega hormones to make her start her period that she hasn't had in over a year. This will probably cause her to have, as the doctor put it, "the period from Hell" can't wait. She said it will probably be heavy and last a long time. Boo.

As soon as it stops pouring out there, I am going to Target to look for bathroom things. That's all for now.

doctor appt.

Whitney is home today, I am taking her to the gynocologist to get the pills. I hope she doesn't get huge boobs like she did last time she took them, but she probably will. All that estrogen.
Not much else planned for today. I already took my walk this morning. It is pretty boring walking by yourself, but too bad for me. At least it wasn't too hot yet, I was out before 8:00. Tomorrow I am going to go to Target and look for new bathroom stuff to match the new blue. Maybe Thursday I will go through all my pictures. I am running out of things to do. I have already cleaned closets and the attic and all the junk drawers. I'm sure stuff will start coming up again, I am just in a "not much to do" phase.
I will wind up this thrilling blog and get ready to leave now, Whitney is waiting outside, she will probably start to melt soon.

Never mind

I guess it just took it a half hour to post

what the????

I posted an anniversary blog thismornign and it's not showing up. Diane had this problem recently too. Anyway, when you are on my blog page hit the search blog button and it should show up, at least it does on mine. It's titled Happy Anniversary Morris'. Stupid blog.

Happy Anniversary Morris'!

Happy Anniversary to us. Thanks Daryl, for 25 good years. Who would have ever thought we would have made it so long? Well, I guess I would have, since I have never imagined life without you. Thanks for pulling my car out of the garage every morning and putting it back in every night. Thanks for always fixing my car when something is wrong with it.Thanks for making my yard so pretty by being obsessed about all the flowers and landscaping. Thanks for always getting up with me at night when we had a sick kid. Thanks for not sleeping either when we were worried about a kid. Thanks for never complaining when we had to spend too much money on a kid. Thanks for not minding the fact that I weigh 60 pounds more than I did on this day 25 years ago. ( dang, was I really that small???)Thanks for having a such a soft heart that you just had to feed that kitten that was following you around and being her best friend. I won't even mention the thanks for how much you love Pierre, he is like one of your kids almost, just like me. Thanks for doing all of this stuff without ever being asked. This list could go on and on, but I will stop here, you get the idea. You have been awesome to me. I love you, here's to 25 more!

Bored

Don't have anything to do and since I have not updated this since last Sunday, I thought I'd better get busy.
Not much going on. Daryl and I went to the Flea Market earlier today. We bought a gigantic rock that will have an American flag and The Morris' est. 6-25-82 engraved on it for our yard. It will be ready in 2 weeks. Daryl got really excited about it, and I like to get him things he is excited about because he works so hard and doesn't get too much for himself. It is really cool though and since tomorrow is our anniversary, I thought what the heck? We should have a rock to commemorate 25 years together! We actually came up with other gifts for each other too. My gift to Daryl is a new tattoo. He has decided on an Irish Claddagh with our names and our anniversary date. He is having it put on his left arm under the Eagle. Pretty soon that left arm is going to be covered in tattoos! I must say, I do like them though! He went in and saw Roy and they worked out the details Thursday, but Roy can't squeeze him in until July 11. The tattoo business is booming baby! We went to school with Roy and Daryl trusts him completely so he doesn't want to go anywhere else, don't blame him. He is getting me a Troll necklace. We are going to Wellings Jewelers tomorrow to get the chain and a couple of charms. I actually found some charms on ebay that are not as expensive too. We are spending too much money, but you only get one 25th anniversary, right? At least that's what Diane keeps telling me. Summer is a killer though, there are way too many birthdays and occcasions. One of these summers I really am going to get a job. No I'm not, who am I kidding? I did a study last week, I wish I could do a bunch more of those, but they have a 45 day rule. Dummies.
We painted the bathroom yesterday. I know, I thought I was done painting too. We painted that bathroom last year, but I was never satisfied with it. It was supposed to be a beige color and ended up with a peach tone that I hated. We painted it a real pretty blue, looks good with the white trim and silver accessories. Wish we would have painted the upstairs that color, but it will be staying green for at leat 5 years! I like the green anyway.
I guess I have rambled on enough, this should do me for at least a few days, right?

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all, I couldn't find a picture of my dad on my camera, ( I think he is camera shy like me), but here are some other dads I know. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday, it sure is going to be hot, except I bet it's not hot in Alaska!
Not much to report. I got to the doctor about my neck, had some x rays, it's a muscular problem. I am supposed to take muscle relaxers and tell him if it's not better in 2 weeks so I can start physical therapy. I will not be doing that. I quit my membership with Curves. Seems like it just aggravated it, whenever I worked out it just hurt worse. Plus, it sure wasn't making me lose any weight. I have been walking, hopefully that will help.
Guess I better get busy, we are having a cookout today for all the family, it will be a busy day, and I still have to put my make up on, don't want to scare anybody you know.

Just practicing

I'm just practicing putting a picture on here without Diane here to help me. I guess I did it huh? We never did figure out how to get new pictures on the computer though, so until we do everyone will have to look at the old ones that we did get on here. Pierre is sweet though, so we will look at him

Yellow Ear

Here are the flowers that make Pierre's ear ( and foot and back now too ) yellow. If you look at his right ear you can see the yellow. I am having fun putting pictures on here, thanks Diane!

Mama and Baby

Here's Mama and Baby, Baby was laying down like Mama, but every time you go get a camera, she gets up, silly girl.

Dill Pickle's new bike

Diane showed me how to put pictures on my blog ( not really, there was mass confusion and we have decided my camera is stupid, we will be waiting for Orfield to come back to town ), but in a round about way we got a picture on here! Here is Dylan's bike we got him at the garage sale, he really loved it!

Happy Birthday Daryl!

Happy birthday to Daryl today, he is 44 years old! We will be going to Lonestar ( his pick) for dinner tonight, yum, I can't wait!
I have been searching for a great big clock for my living room wall and finally found a gorgeous one at Hobby Lobby. It will be so pretty when it's gets on the wall.
I am finally going to the doctor on Tuesday about my swollen neck that has been swollen since March when I went to see that quack of a chiropractor. I wish I could take that back so bad and never go to him. It's causing me a lot of pain lately, so I guess it's time to see what's going on.
I also made Whitney's appt. to see my gynocologist and get her the pills. I have been trying to put that one off, but she is prety independent these days ( which is a great thing and I'm glad she has a life she enjoys so much these days ), and I think it's better to be safe than sorry. Daryl and I have appts. with the dermatologist next Monday. I go every year just for a check up, Daryl has never been, but he has a brown spot - looks kind of like a birthmark, but it's not, on his forehead that I think warrants a look at, especially since it's new. I hate doing all these doctor apppointments, but what are you going to do?? I also have my gynocologist appt. and my mammogram, waa, seems like all I ever do all summer is run to all these dumb appts. It's good to be off work to do them though. Ok, now that I've whined about all my doctors visits, I will go get psyched up for dinner!

Garage Sales!

Daryl and I went to garage sales this morning. It is fun to have him along, I don't think he's been able to go with me in about 2 years, but he really likes to go. Sunrise Landing was having their community sale today and there are always a lot of them there. Bargains of the day include: A smowblower for $20, a bench for the dresing area of my newly remodeled bedroom $20, a mongoose bicycle for Dylan for $25 and a coleman lantern still in the box for $2. There were other odds and ends we bought, but these were the biggest things. Dylan will be here in a bit, we can't wait to show him his bike, he will be excited. I am thinking his spiderman big wheel will be taking a backseat tonight!
We got some fresh green beans and we are cooking them with some potatoes and a ham and the house smells really good.
I am getting anxious to finish painting the bedroom. I hopefully will finish it next week.
Gotta go fold some laundry.
